Open Day - 10:00AM to 12:00pm Sun 25th September 2011

Baseball Tasmania would like to invite all new and prospective players to an open try-out day at Prince of Wales Bay on Sunday 25th September 2011.  We will be running a try-out session before new players will be assigned a team for the upcoming season.

Don't worry.  We do not turn anyone away, but we want to ensure all of our teams have the players they need to fill critical positions and ensure they can field a team comfortably.

If you want to play with a friend, we also ensure you will play on the same team.

Pre-Season Training

Baseball Tasmania has booked the diamond for the 10 to 12 on the Sundays of 25th September and 2nd October for teams to utilise for their own pre-season training.  We invite the team managers and coaches to make full use of the ground during these times.

Even if your team hasn't organised training, we still invite players to come along to help blow the cobwebs off from the off-season.

Season Opener

The 2011/2012 season will open with a double headers on Sunday 9th October 2011 and Sunday 16th October 2011 before switching to the regular twilight schedule from Wednesday 19th October 2011.  There will be one Sunday round during the season in February to make up a round due to the use of the ground for the Softball Nationals in early January.
