A beautiful 21 degree day greeted players for the opening pitch of the 2010/2011 season.  A number of new faces were welcomed to the lineups and we hope they not only enjoyed their first outting, but also hope to see them regularly on the playing field.

The Blue Jays got some revenge for last season's grand final loss with a relatively comfortable 14-5 win over the Whitesox in the opening game, while the Athletics also won comfortably over the Red Sox.

The players will return next Sunday to continue battle before beginning the twilights games.  If you want to play baseball but haven't been able to make it yet, we will always welcome new faces at any time to take up this fantastic sport.
