Congratulations to the Whitesox who successfully defended their 2008 championship with a 6-3 defeat of the Blue Jays in a highly entertaining and closely fought Grand Final. A few mistakes by the 'Jays fielding and a better day with the bat by the 'Sox were enough to get them over the line and we congratulate their success

Red Sox Take Out 3rd Place Playoff

In a great opening to the day, the Red Sox made a late-inning charge with a couple of homeruns to stave off a hard-fighting Athletics team, who held a 5-4 lead late into the game. In another highly entertaining game, the two teams can be proud of the way they finished off the season.

Congratulations To All

With the second full season of the revamped Baseball Tasmania league in the bag, we want to congratulate ALL the players who took part during the season. We had a bit of a rocky start with the short-lived Royals team, but the original four teams managed to pull together and have a fun season. We hope to see everyone back on deck for the 2009/2010 season and ask you keep paying attention to the website, as we will post information about the AGM as well as make some enhancements to the layout and functionality.
